Job Description - Sales Administrator

Working as part of a team in one of the many departments in an expanding manufacturing business.


Reporting to the Senior Sales Administrator.

Tasks will involve:

Providing direct support to the Senior Sales Administrator and the Sales Team

Processing sales orders

Sending out order acknowledgements and proforma invoices to customers via SAGE

Assisting Accounts to chase customer payments

Handling incoming calls/enquiries from customers and ensuring all follow up actions are dealt with in a timely manner

Raising new opportunities on SalesForce for Sales to follow up

Chasing for repeat orders/business when scheduled orders are due to complete

● Generating quotations and sending out supporting data sheets/drawings to customers

● Liaising with customers on a regular basis to ensure SLA is maintained

● Liaising with the Production Planning team as required

● Raising Product Information Files (PIF’s) as required

● Sending invoices to customers post shipment

● Updating customers on shipping/tracking information

● Report generation


Requirements:

● Some previous experience working in an Sales/Sales admin environment
● Strong customer services background

● Someone who has a confident, enthusiastic, flexible and proactive approach to their work
● Someone who is seeking a progression in their role
● Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and self-motivated
● Working knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Office, SalesForce & SAGE Accounts would be ideal although not essential

   as training can be given.

● Good IT & telephone skills

Job Description - Document and Design Administrator

Working as part of a team in one of the many departments in an expanding manufacturing business.


Reporting to the Senior Drawing Operator/Engineer.

Tasks will involve:

​Drawing lamp designs using CAD software

Interpret customer requirements 

Working closely with Sales on customer designs

Data entry (Google sheets and Sage Manufacturing)

Reviewing design/manufacturing support documentation

Create BOMs in Sage

Working closely with Production on design to manufacture


Requirements:

● Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
● A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach

● Willingness to learn design and manufacturing processes
● An analytical mindset and organizational skills
● Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and self-motivated
● Keen to learn and take on responsibilities and willing to cross train in other departments

● Support continuous improvements and waste reduction

Training will be given in all areas. The successful candidates will also be required to have cross departmental training.

Job Description - Production Operator

Working as part of a small team in one of the various production departments for an expanding manufacturing business

Reporting to the Department Supervisor.

Tasks may involve:

● Basic CNC turning
● Using small lathes
● Using small gas torches for brazing
● Cutting & crimping machines
● Grinding wheels
● Brazing, polishing & cleaning components
● Mixing chemicals
● Using furnaces & ovens
● Plating components
● Using high vacuum pump equipment
● Using auto manufacturing equipment
● Using test equipment
● Using small hand tools to complete processes
● Packing the final product

 


Requirements:

● Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
● A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
● An analytical mindset and organizational skills
● Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and self-motivated
● Keen to learn and take on responsibilities and willing to cross train in other departments
