Laser machines require a free air flow to allow cooling of components to keep the machine running efficiently. This is achieved by installing an air filter (sometimes also referred to as an exhaust filter).

It is generally recommended that you replace the air filter in your machine every 6 months (depending on system usage) to maintain the free flow of cooling air.
